Looks like no fun at all
Anyone got any ideas where to get a good jump rope. I keep breaking the handles on the cheap ones I have.

First five round with the shorter ropes I averaged 7, once I switched to the longer rope my average was around 20. I've got to work on keeping my hands by my sides.

First time doing OHS and they felt very good.

WOD: 20 min DU's (40s/20s)

total: 572

Love the new ropes, they are very fast and I found I was able to get away with a very small jump, almost single under like. Did these in groups of 15 every 20s, pacing for 600 but had a couple bad rounds where I was catching the rope due to shoulder fatigue. It was hard to gain that ground back and didn't want to gas myself out by trying to squeeze 40 into a round so I stayed the course. Very happy with this score.

Coach told me he didn't think anybody would get 500 because RJ wasn't there! That was enough to keep me going.

Rogue Fitness Canada. Speed ropes are $15 plus shipping. They used to have free shipping on those but those days are gone.

Workout was at the base gym today...
WU = 800m run
Did some broomstick practice on OHS. Starting to feel good.

WOD
Redo of Grace from the other day. Was sitting around and kept having my defeat jump into my mind. 6:31 with 125# just wasn't acceptable. I knew it was a mental defeat so i just had to get past this.

Thats 2 minutes faster and i still felt as though i had more in the tank in the end. I'm happy now and may be able to sleep at night.

Finished off with 5 rnds of:
4 muscle ups
4 HSPU
(never timed it, was more focused on working on HSPU and getting them to the floor.)

All and all, I'm Smiling today.
