I don't post my results very often (ok...I guess I never have) but today I'm pretty proud of myself. Last year I was lucky to run it in under 28 mins. Distance running does NOT come easy for me! This was my 4th 5km run of the year so I'm really happy. Only bad thing is...it dawn near killed me and I know that I'm now going to have to strive for that result for my next run LOL!
8 hour adventure race today with Katie (http://www.naturalselectionar.com/Daddy.php wfs)
10 km paddle (canoe, was actually probably closer to 15 with all the zigzaging we did, I'm a bad steerer) 2 hours 15 km hike/jog through downtown, woods and the university (up and down a hill) 3 hours 20 km bike through walking/atv trails, a bit of road 2.5 hours 1 km tire pull 8 minutes, 53 seconds
Total time was 7 hours, 20 minutes, I think we placed 4th out of 8 teams.
