Near the end I was averaging handstand holds of 5-7 seconds. I also managed two single free hspu from a headstand, but lost both just after returning to the ground.
I'll probably hit a short strength/skill workout later this afternoon followed by a short and intense metcon.
Todays WOD was taking a 4 year old and a 7 year old to the festivities on the South Side Green. It was an excellent metcon and strength workout all wrapped up into one event.
Now I just have to figure out how many blocks those curly fries count as. :) Does it help if they were shared 4 ways?

That puts me 2nd in the world for this season in the lightweight division. Assuming they give me a 1 pound leeway for weigh-in. I have to send a bunch of verification info to them, so it won't be ranked until that is finished. Pretty stoked though!
140km road ride from salisbury to rothesay 6:59:41 - way to squeak in under 7 hours!!
7 of us started the day to accompany michelle on the first leg of her 3 night bike tour. it was down to her and i after 60kms, we split up at the 97.4km mark (norton). she heading toward gagetown, i continued to rothesay alone.
all told 140kms, the longest ride i've done (both distance and time), pacing ourselves was the best idea of the day. not a stellar pace, but it kept the energy there til i really needed it at the end.
My goal today was to do all the thrusters unbroken so I took slight rests in between. This is a HUGE mental victory for me. It felt pretty good. We should have timed it...I have a funny feeling that even with all the rest, I would have been close to a PR. haha!
